SHORELINE

From the series Shoreline by Fabio Silva |
It is defined as the fringe of land at the edge of a large body of water. This fringe is influenced and shaped, despite its local geology largely by the water. The element is fundamental but it is not the only to play a role, wind and dynamics between the both, give us a remarkable landscape, familiar but at the same time unknown, with dunes that change as we seen them and plants that grow and became buried in front of our eyes.
This understanding was the beginning to a photographic collaboration
between two Portuguese photographers, Fábio Silva and Carlos Cancela Pinto. The relations of space between elements, their shape, details and the influence of light was
captured by both photographers as a living landscape, rather than a fixed
object.
Please see the photographs below of his latest project entitle Shorelines.

In Bed
Ultimately, I have been working in what surrounds me, capturing the space, capturing the people that really touches me. I have no feelings and motivation to aim my lens towards other subject but my family.
I recently decided to portrait my Son Tiago.
Here are some photographs of what I have been doing lately.

From the second session of 'No child can escape their genetic heritage'
After a long pause in my creative photographic journey, I would like to introduce one more photograph from my last and still ongoing black and white series "No child can escape their genetic heritage" and I just recently finish this photograph.
This second session was shot a while ago when my parents came to Australia for holidays.
I still don't really know when i'm going to finish this project…
