The Monochrome Journal is a blog exclusively focus in the practice of black and white photography whether silver gelatine printing or digital black and white photography. The goal is to preserve and to keep black and white photography alive and to showcase and combine Portuguese artists with Australian artists who still believe in this form of art.

From the second session of 'No child can escape their genetic heritage'
After a long pause in my creative photographic journey, I would like to introduce one more photograph from my last and still ongoing black and white series "No child can escape their genetic heritage" and I just recently finish this photograph.
This second session was shot a while ago when my parents came to Australia for holidays.
I still don't really know when i'm going to finish this project…
